Step 1: About the Virtual Internship Program
Are you ready to take the leap to become a confident accountant and land your dream accounting job? The Virtual Internship program consists of a
- 4-week fully online access to the Virtual Accounting Lab
- Including self-paced lessons, online forum and discussions, job-simulations, case-studies, quizzes, etc.
- and everything you could possibly imagine in a real-life work environment.
Interns who successfully complete the 4-week internship program will receive a recognized Certificate of Completion. Interns who complete the internship may wish to opt into the Advanced program allowing them to gain the reputable Certified Technical Accountant (CTA) Designation with mentorship, access to our exclusive talent marketplace with job opportunities as well as lifelong support.
Step 2: Join the YAP Africa Hub
You'll join over 1000+ interns like you, who gain access to the Interns' Hub (a dedicated Facebook Community) for pre-internship activities, onboarding processes., lifetime support, forum and other information.
Step 3: Complete the Pre-Internship Readiness Assessment
You'll take a pre-internship readiness assessment. This assessment is your first step on this exciting internship journey. It will give you a sense of what to expect during the internship and help you identify areas where you may want to focus your growth. Your results will guide you toward making the most of this experience and ensure you're ready to hit the ground running. We would like to see how we can best support your internship journey.
Please read the following carefully:
- Ensure you have a stable internet connection while taking this test
- There are 30 multiple choice questions
- You only have 30 mins to complete and submit your answers
- Each question carries 2 points
- You must have a passing score of at least 40 marks to qualify for the internship program
- You have only 1 attempt
- Ensure NOT to close your browser or you will lose your progress and attempt if your browser closes or refreshes
You'll be allowed to make another attempt if you do not pass BUT only after 24 hours otherwise, you'll be disqualified.
Step 4: Unlocking your path to success
Successful interns who pass the pre-internship readiness assessment will receive an email with details of the onboarding process that will help them unlock your path to success.
Step 5: Accessing the Virtual Accounting Lab
